media - Swingster sparks off sex debate

Police woman Su lost her job at the end of 2006, we learn thanks to the Shanghai Daily from the Shaanxi China Business View of January 16. She did not lose her job because she had sex with several men, with the consent of her husband. She also did not lose her job because she and her husband were running a website for swingers.
The Shaanxi woman claimed it was the largest of its kind in China, attracting nearly 60,000 members seeking the pleasures of uninhibited sex outside marriage.
What made her lose her job was that she started a public debate on sex and marriage in the media. That dismissal caused of cause even more debate and I guess with a few banner ads for condoms the former police woman can earn enough money on her website to compensate for the loss.
The Shanghai Daily meanwhile sticks to the official line: only sex inside the marriage. That will give the party members and the Roman Catholic church a nice subject to agree upon.
By then the editorial gets really boring, so most of you will have missed it even quotes the German philosopher Kant:
Fidelity is a moral thing. Kant said that only the esteem of moral laws makes an action morally meaningful.
Now.
