Corporate weblogging at Amcham Shanghai

Three highly respected experts on the internet are going to explain what weblogging means for companies. On October 23, Chinabiz speaker Sam Flemming of CIC Date is joined by Imagathief, offline also known als Will Moss of PR-firm Burson and Marsteller. They get the company of Debbie Weil, who has written about the subject in English and is now promoting the Chinese
Here are the details of the event. I would have joined if it would be possible, but have visitors over for much of the week, so are tied up. My sense it that corporate blogging is, unlike in the US, in China in a very early stage, both in English and Chinese. There is a growing number of entrepreneurs joining the English language scene, but apart from some larger PR-firms they seem to be mostly smaller entrepreneurs and lawyers. The Chinese scene, overwhelmed each year by millions of youngsters, has celebrity blogs, sex blogs, political blogs, but seems to have hardly corporate blogs.
