Is Facebook getting itself blocked?

Kaiser Kuo reports on the plans by Facebook to get itself a Chinese interface by December. By setting up a Chinese operation outside China in stead of finding a local partner, it might avoid the Chinese internet censorship, but will most likely be blocked instantly, like happend to YouTube. That would be a nuisance.
