Blog discloses labor abuses

ESWN translates an article of the Southern Metropolitan Daily where a reporter starts an investigation into a textile company, after reading a blog by one of the workers:
Two weeks ago, Ah Guo who has only some secondary education started a blog titled "The slave who knows to resist" He wrote all about the "VF investigative questionnaire." "I had no choice. I did not want to be manipulated by the company to give them a good reputation." Ah Guo said that he had thought about quitting, but he was concerned that the company would withhold his wages. He wanted to draw attention on the Internet so that the relevant government departments will intervene and investigate this matter.
After reading the article you wonder how Ah Guo found time to blog. He describes how the workers have to memorize ten answers on ten questions in case inspectors arrive unexpected at the premisis. It illustrates how Chinese companies routinely circumvent inspections by their foreign clients.
Some of the brands involved: Wrangler, Hero, The North Face, Nautica, JanSport, Vans, Kipling, Reef, etc.
