Shanghaiist picked up some pictures of the China Pavilion that is going to dominate the World Expo 2010 and had a groundbreaking ceremony this weekend. A quote from the Shanghai Daily:
The China Pavilion, covering an area of 6.52 hectares, will host a 20,000- square- meter exhibition inside based on the theme "Chinese wisdom in urban development" by explaining values about harmony, nature and spirit.That should be a pretty amazing view.

Looks very impressive. I like the colour scheme. The shape symbolize the true character of PRC. It's big at the top, narrow at the bottom. You can see it from afar, and it looks big. The usable space within is quite a different story.
