Wahaha's trade union, which filed the lawsuit on Dec 6, is asking for 5 mln yuan in damages, claiming that Danone has acted against the interests of Wahaha workers by holding shares in companies that compete with the Danone-Wahaha joint venture and by damaging Wahaha's reputation in the media.

Wahaha union sues Danone
A little jewel in the Wahaha-Danone brouhaha I had missed. The Wahaha trade union is going to sue Danone because it claims the French company has damaged the interests of Wahaha, and its workers, reports XFN-Asia.
