Two economists of Standard Chartered claim that US$ 24 billion worth of money has left China illegally during the first six months of this year, the China Media Watch of Chinabiz reports, quoting a report on Tuesday by the China Securities Journal.
Efforts of the government to cool down the real estate were cited as the main reason for the money drain.
