internet - Tudou celebrates 10 million downloads per day

Today I attended the New Year's party of video-sharing company Tudou, according to the latest figures the market leader in China. During the meeting co-founder Gary Wang announced that the very young enterprise had passed another threshold: 10 million downloads per day. Really an amazing achievement for a company with so little history.
As mentioned before, being a market leader with only ten percent is scary little, when you have to face some bigger players later on.
Anyway, many of the regulars were at the party, probably partly the same bunch I will meet on the next Mobile Monday. The subject is going to be Mobile TV and, as organizer Bruno Bensaid tried to tell me, that is not automatically 3G. Actually, I do not care how I get the stuff, as long as it works better than the current internet.
