internet - Baidu: what is it small!

The figures from Baidu, Google's nightmare in China, have been released and most funny I find the reactions of the US-based analysts. Revenue rose 136% to 43.8 million US dollar and profit went up to 15.7 million US dollar. Baidu now has 62% of the search engine market, followed by a Google, whose part dropped to 25%.
What remains astonishing is that the revenue of the most popular search engine in China is still so small. China has the second largest number of internet users in the world after the US.
It has been mentioned here and here before consumers do not have that much money to spend. And because they have in the big cities spend most on new housing and a new car, they cannot spend it on other stuff.

Update: Ah, made a mistake: the figures are over the fourth quarter, not the whole year. Still, it is pretty small money :-)
