Beijing hotels show desperation in ads

via WikipediaToday I noticed a decent spike in my income from my ads on this weblog, so had a look at the different entries. I have space for in total seven different ads and six of those seven were from Beijing hotels or other hospitality services in that region.
Just a minor assumption: is it a sign of desperation? I'm not complaining though. It looks like the right time for bargain seekers, of course, if you can get your visa to visit Beijing.

Update: I just checked some prices on the hotel sites and they are still pretty high. If you can afford to wait, I would still hold on for a few weeks, since prices might go down further. The 'bargains' they offer now are not really bargains yet.
