Orange as an olympic protest color

Danish activists have come up with an original protest during the Beijing Olympics: use orange as a protest color. The Dutch Olympic team has already reacted with concern, since orange is also the Dutch national color and they do not liked the idea of orange being hijacked for protests. The story (here unfortunately in Dutch) has not yet gotten much traction though. About the intention of the activists:
The idea is both sophisticated and simple: We want to introduce The Color Orange as a symbol of the protest against the human rights violations in China. The strict censorship can ban the use of obvious symbols of human rights, but the use of The Color Orange cannot be banned.
I bet that China is going to ban orange regardless; using the color red would have been a much more powerful gesture.
Dutch speaking visitors in China already told me that the site was not accessible anymore, more or less an official Chinese acknowledgment of the protest. The Dutch premier Balkenende will most certainly join the protest during the opening ceremony.
