Goldkorn says that independent operators in China could be linked to hacking activities, but it would be a tough call to blame China's government for those. Google followed a link to hackers in China, but it was a dead lead and could originate from everywhere.
There are some very talented hackers, who operate as individuals in China. On the other hand, bear in mind the nature of the alleged targets of the hacking campaign that does seem like an attempt to get information that would be of strategic importance to China's military or government.Listen to the full audio fragment at the Takeaway.org here.
